In this page, you will find links to bilingual learning materials, primarily Children’s stories in both Chinese and English languages and corresponding videos in both English and Chinese as well.

The list will keep growing as I add more to the list.

These bilingual materials will provide an excellent way to learn Chinese language. Reading texts in both English and Chinese and watching corresponding videos in both languages are an excellent way to learn Chinese.  Knowing the stories inside out in your native language will help you comprehend their corresponding texts and videos in another language. You will be able to pick up Chinese vocabulary, phrases, and sentences in the context of their uses, if you know the story very well in your own native language.

When my daughter was little. I let her watch well-known Disney movies both in English and Chinese. The understanding of the story in one language really helped her understand the story when it was presented in another language and helped her develop biligual language skills.

Learning new words, phrases and sentences from the context of their uses in print and in videos is the best way to build your vocabulary and improve your listening and reading comprehension.

Children’s stories are meaningful and can be used by learners of all ages to enhance their Chinese language skills.  Take great advantage of these wonderful learning materials!
