My family and My parents’ families 我家人和我爸妈的家人
This oral presentation is titled ¨My family and my parents’ families¨ 我的家人和我爸爸妈妈的家人
Three options you can use to make your oral presentation:
(Oral presentation is to be made to the whole class.
Option 1: PowerPoint slides
Option 2: create a picture book
Option 3: a poster
Content:
Please include your immediate family members and extended family members. Introduce at least three to four immediate family members and 3 extended family members.
***Must provide illustrations/photos/drawing/pictures for each member
Describe the following:
First, describe yourself : What is your name? (你叫什么名字？)
Second, tell us how many people in your immediate family （你家有几个人？）
Third, tell us who they are, including how many siblings do you have（他们是谁？你有几个兄弟姐妹？
Fourth, introduce your family one by one, mentioning the following specifics about them.
(Include a picture of each member in your family and any illustrations that reflect the content you are talking about.)
You can introduce each member by indicating who that person is in relation to you. (For example, This is my dad.)
Ex: 这是我爸爸。
Then, give us more information about each member，including the following information.
Name
他叫什么名字Nǐ/tā jiào shénme míngzì What is your/his name?
Age
他多大？tā duōdà? How old is he?
Nationality
他/她是哪国人？tā shì nǎ guórén? What nationality is he?）
School
（他/她上什么学校？tā shàng shénme xuéxiào? What school does /he attend? 上shàng：attend; 学校xuéxiào: school）
他/她 上几年级？ What grade does he or she attend?
Favorite food
（他喜欢吃什么？Nǐ/tā xǐhuān chī shénme cài? What food do you/does he like to eat? Vocabulary:喜欢xǐhuān: like; 吃chī：eat ）
Hobbies
For example,他喜欢唱歌。He likes to sing. (Please look up the dictionary for hobbies)
Fifth，after introducing your immediate family, please introduce your extended family. Include at least three extended family members. Also give us more specific information about them.
Conclusion (suggested conclusion for your presentation)
他们是我的家人。 (They are my family.) 我爱我的家人！（I love my family）
