Ling-Ling Shih, PhD, is a Professor of Chinese Language and Culture at Bard Early College, Cleveland and Chair of Chinese Program at Bard Early Colleges. At BHSEC, she teaches Chinese language, history, and culture. She received her Master's and PhD degree in Anthropology from State University of New York at Albany, another Master's degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from Middlebury College, and a certificate in Translation Studies from University of Chicago. Prior to teaching at BHSEC, she has also taught at Hope College, Grand Valley State University, and Nanyang Technological University.
